TSU signs MOU with HEIs in the High-Level Higher Education Partnership Canada Mission

A Consortium Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tarlac State University, Tarlac Agricultural University, Iloilo Science and Technology University, Mariano Marcos State University, Southern Leyte State University, Universidad De Dagupan, West Visayas State University, World Citi Colleges, and WCC Aeronautical and Technological College last June 11, 2022, at the WCC-ATC campus.

A Consortium Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tarlac State University, Tarlac Agricultural University, Iloilo Science and Technology University, Mariano Marcos State University, Southern Leyte State University, Universidad De Dagupan, West Visayas State University, World Citi Colleges, and WCC Aeronautical and Technological College last June 11, 2022, at the WCC-ATC campus.

The Consortium MOU stipulates the collaboration between participating HEIs in the High-Level Higher Education Partnership Mission in Ottawa and Toronto, Canada, last March 25 to April 5, 2022. The Canada Partnership Mission and specify frameworks for how the participating HEIs can initiate and support specific academic cooperation programs in information exchange, education exchange, and research collaboration. The participating HEIs in this Consortium MOU can explore collaborative opportunities such as faculty and student exchange, training and capacity building, information exchange, and many others.

The Consortium MOU signing was attended by the presidents of participating HEIs and the CHED IAS Director Atty. Lily Freida C. Macabangun-Milla. Tarlac State University president Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, Executive Assistant to the President Dr. Brigido Corpuz, and International Affairs and Linkages Director Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza also attended the Consortium MOU signing.

Through his opening remarks, WCC-ATC president Mr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico officially opened the signing ceremony. Tarlac Agricultural University’s Director of External Linkages and Affairs, Dr. Christine Ferrer, presented a brief overview of the MOU, immediately followed by the official signing. Afterward, the different HEI presidents delivered their messages of commitment to the success of the MOU. Finally, Universidad de Dagupan president Dr. Voltaire Arzadon closed the program.
